EPCOT Japan Pavilion: Garden House Sake Kiosk Refurbished - What Changed? (2026)

A fresh update reveals that construction barriers around EPCOT’s Japan pavilion Garden House, the little sake kiosk, have been removed. The structure has not been torn down, yet it has undergone noticeable changes. The front doors have been replaced by windows, while two side windows have been swapped for doors. The base’s stonework was adjusted to integrate the new openings and seal off the front area. Decorative wooden accents beneath the windows were removed, and the overall kiosk has been repainted. Signs and ornamental elements were taken down, though the straw roof remains in place. For reference, here’s a look at how the stand used to appear.

Disney has not issued any official statements about a potential reopening date, whether the venue will keep its Garden House name, or if sake will return to its lineup. Nearby, a new gashapon kiosk featuring Sanrio and Dragon Ball toys opened earlier this year, adding a fresh attraction to the area.
